How do you select your housekeepers?
The housekeepers on our platform have been through background checks, interviews, and reference checks. We also make sure that they have the right experience; all of the housekeepers on the Polly platform have previous experience in the housekeeping industry.
What services do you offer?
Our housekeepers provide core housekeeping services, caring for every aspect of your home with exceptional attention to detail. Once you select your preferences for additional household tasks, your housekeeper will incorporate these into their visits, anything from laundry, to looking after your beloved pets. You can easily adjust or prioritise tasks by discussing your needs directly with your housekeeper. Please note, however, that we may need to allocate additional time depending on the tasks, so please contact us to update your service requirements.
Why do I need a Hoover?
For your health and safety, we require each home to have its own vacuum cleaner available for your housekeeper.
This important policy prevents cross contamination and maintains the highest standards of hygiene across all our clients’ homes.
Do I have to be present when the housekeeper comes?
There is no need to adjust your schedule to be present during your housekeeper’s visit.
With pre-arranged access (via key or other secure method), your housekeeper can tend to your home while you’re away.
How much does a housekeeper cost?
There are plenty of cleaning companies in London offering decent service, usually charging around £15 an hour and following a fixed checklist.

How do I book?
Booking a housekeeper through our platform is easy. Simply click Book Online and answer our questionnaire on the services you require and frequency of visits. How does payment work?
Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll send you a secure payment link to automate your payments. Payments are processed at the end of each day after your appointment is complete so you never have to worry about leaving the exact cash out again.
